There are a number of high profile campaigners working to change the UK government’s ‘frozen pensions’ policy. An All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Frozen British Pensions has wide support from across the political spectrum, and its membership can be found here.
Sir Richard Branson, who has a ‘frozen pension’ that he doesn’t claim, has also written out about the injustice of frozen pensions on his blog which can be found here.

“I was shocked to hear of this injustice that affects over 550,000 of British pensioners and their livelihoods. This policy of the UK Government plunges the most vulnerable into poverty and hurts those who have given the most to their country such as former public servants and military veterans. It is one of the greatest injustices and so I give my full support to the campaign and its fight.” Miriam Margolyes
“It’s hugely unfair that people who have made their National Insurance contributions all their lives in the UK should miss out because they have retired abroad. State pension increases should be paid to all UK pensioners wherever they live.” Caroline Abrahams, Director of Age UK
